GR Auto Gallery is excited to bring to market this 1973 Pontiac Catalina Safari Wagon. The owner acquired it 10 years ago and built it into something pretty awesome. At first glance you may think that this land yacht may be a bit sluggish and you may pray that you do not get stuck behind it, but that is where you get caught off guard. The 400 v8 was extracted and a new power plant was installed. This street machine is powered by a fuel injected 454 v8 that has been bored .030 over with a hydraulic roller cam, roller rockers, eagle crank, ARP bolts and was professionally built. It also features sequential port EFI from FAST with a RAMJET upper and lower intake from GM. The car comes with a receipt for the build and a dyno sheet. The Automatic transmission is the 4L85E and is controlled by a stand alone trans controller from US Shift(under cup holder) The rear end is a stock 2.93
The interior has recently been given a face lift and now sports bucket seats and a center console. The interior is neat and tidy and shows well. The car also has air conditioning that functions properly.
This Catalina is a dream to drive as the engine is strong, the transmission is smooth, and it features power steering.
