Description for Pontiac GTO 1965
You are looking at a 1965 Pontiac GTO 2-Door Hardtop (with PHS documentation) that is and has been under restoration for a long time. I purchased a Rebuilt 455 engine from a racer friend of mine. He had built it for his 66 GTO and sold the car before installing the engine. We had the 455 engine and a rebuilt Muncie 4 speed transmission in this GTO and running several years ago. It also has power steering and is a factory Air Conditioning car. We pulled the engine and trans back out to detail them and the engine compartment and have never gotten them installed back in the car. The body work has been done and the car was recently painted. It was originally a Mission Beige with a Black Vinyl top car. I was planning on putting a Black vinyl top back on it. Both quarter panels were replaced and a little more rust repair was don. The body is rust free at this time. The repairs were professionally done. I have the seats and many parts to put the car back together. I am 71 years old and just ready to get rid of some of my projects. This is a true GTO. As she sits right now you can get her for $17,500.00. As we get the glass reinstalled and have it running, the price will go up. We offer a 90 day lay away on many of our vehicles. Just break the cost of the vehicle into 4 equal payments 30 days apart, and then you can take possession of the vehicle. I might consider a possible trade, what do you have? What are you looking for?
