Description for Pontiac GTO 1970
Vehicle DetailsPHS verified 70 GTO Judge. Originally optioned with Verduro Green paint, black vinyl Top and Black Interior. RAIII, Auto, 3.55 Posi, p/disks, Manual steering, no A/C. This car runs, drives and stops excellent. To make it into a driver the front wiring harness needs to be replaced. I figure most buyers will restore the car, so I did not go to the expense/trouble of replacing this harness.Original Numbers matching RAIII that runs excellent! Holds 20" of vacuum at idle! Auto trans has been replaced and works fine. Still has 100% of the original sheet metal. Has some cancerous rust in the rear wheel lips and lower 1/4's. Has a small area of rust in the driver's floor pan and on the sail panels/ roof. All the areas can be repaired with patch panels. Full panel replacements will not be needed. The trunk lid has rust along the leading edge it will be most economical to replace it. It looks worse than it is because of the cheap 80's paint job changing the color to white. The remainder of the car is very solid with no rot. This includes the front and rear windows channels, the frame, the floor pans, the trunk pan, suspension components, doors, cowl, fenders, hood, valances and endura. I have over 175 photos and video's of walking around it, it running, and taking it for a drive. Ebay will not allow me to upload the link to this add, but if you get ahold of me, I will share the link so that you can view the photos / video. Serious buyers will get ahold of me for this link because the photos show the condition of the car better than I can describe it. Send me a message through eBay or call/text me @541-212-3940. I don't know if eBay will allow me to send the link through their messaging system, but we will find out! If you want more photos / video's it is not a problem. It comes with the original date-coded intake and exhaust manifolds. The original shifter has been replaced with a his/hers unit from a 68 GTO. I have a clear title in my name. The car is located in Southern Oregon (97526). I am 40 miles north of the Medford Airport (MFR). You are welcome to come inspect the car / take it for a drive. I have a lift available to inspect it on. This car is for sale locally and on social media. It may be sold prior to the end of the auction. It does have a reserve. If the reserve is met and you are the winning bidder, a $1000 deposit will be required at the end of the auction. Cash (in person), a wire transfer or a certified check are all acceptable forms of payment. All funds / checks must clear before the car will be released. I will assist you with shipping, but you will be required to make all arrangements. I will hold the car for up to 30 days while waiting for your transporter. Check my feedback- 100% as a buyer and seller. I have been on eBay for decades and during that time I have sold four collector cars on eBay and the buyers were happy with their purchases. One buyer had the vehicle (79 F350 4x4) shipped to Arizona before he saw it firsthand, another flew in and drove his vehicle (74 ford pickup) to Canada, a third flew in from Colorado and drove his square body Chevy to Colorado, and the fourth send a driver with cash from Northern California (couple hours away) to pick up his early solid axle Toyota 4x4. None had problems with their purchases or complained they were misled. All were treated fairly, as I expect to be.If you have less then 10 purchases on Ebay, contact me or your bid will be rejected. I do not have time for people to waste by trying to scam me / derail my sale.
