Description for Pontiac Catalina 1971

This is a 1971 Pontiac Catalina 4 Door Sedan.

This car is a nearly rust free Texas car.

The only rust it had was below the back glass. Glass was removed, new metal welded in and professionally finished.

Interior is ALL original except for new carpet. Dash is showroom perfect with NO cracks. Rest of interior is very nice original. One small tear in the driver's seat ( see pics)

The only thing not working is the factory AM radio.

NOS remote trunk release was added as well as factory rally wheels and new 225/70 15 tires.

Engine is the original 350 Pontiac V8. Runs great!

Drive it across country tomorrow if you want.

The following have been upgraded/ replaced:

New upper control arm bushings and alignment, new factory correct dual exhaust with nos hangers.

New True Roller timing chain. Front cover, valve covers and intake cleaned/ blasted and re-sealed.

Factory rear sway bar added.

Engine was originally a 2barrel, but has been correctly converted to a factory 4 bbl with correct dated intake and matching professionally done carb and correct breather.

New correct fuel pump and sender.

All new fuel hoses due to dry rot.

Cam is original and the car has a nice original tone out the back.

New correct copper radiator.

New water pump and heater core.
