1958 Pontiac Parisienne 2dr Coupe originally 261 6cy, 3 spd standard /armstrong steering, 525 with these were built at the GM Oshawa plant . They were offered with 261 6 cy, 28, 348 V8 's and auto trans as well as a variety of options . They shared drivetrain', X fram, pans with the 58 Impala . I am the 3rd owne, the original 6 was gone when I bought it in 89 previous owner replaced it with another 261 . GM Canada made this versio, to avoid tariffs, it's about 6 inchesshorter than the Bonneville (firewall forward )they stamped out 3872 2 drs overall .
Last drove this back in the early 90', pulled the 6 cyl / tranny out in mid 90's with visions of restorin, but other projects and life got in the wa, I won't get to it , someone should . The windshield is cracke, the rest of glass is goo, X frame is goo, missing front sea, lower rocker chrome moulding between fenderwell', steering column support bracket, and the bottom fender spears .The wiring is all there everything worked even the radi, keep in mind this was back when I still had hai, clean title/TOD in hand .Have a running 305 4 barrel and 3 speed standard trans that goes with the car along with some spare part, Will need pans quarter repai, inner rockers windshiel, trunk pan , fender eyebrow patch is sitting on fender in pi, most replacement panels are still available .
