1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom 5.3L (326 V-8)

Description for Pontiac Tempest 1966

Up for auction is my 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom with the 326 V-8 motor. It has 99000 miles on it. I was told the motor & transmission is original but I never tried to verify it. The car runs and drives great. It is very solid. It needs a few coats of primer and some scuffing and it's ready for paint. I have all the trim pieces to go with it. I have PPG paint and clear coat that I paid over 1000 dollars for. It's included. I just spent another 1000 for new tires. Pontiac rally 2 rims. new pmd caps. and new trim rings. The tires have maybe 75 miles on them. The interior is in great condition. the headliner has a couple small holes and two small rips in the front seats where the stitching came apart. The door panels. dash bezel. and dash pad look almost new with no rips or cracking. I also installed a new gas tank. new trunk pans. new body mount bushings and had the engine gone through and had the heads redone. I believe everything works except the speedometer which quit working about a month ago. I haven't checked it out yet. It's been a little too cold. I hate to sell but I'm purchasing a new vehicle and I don't have the room for it. Car is sold as is. No warranty . I will accept cash or a bank certified cashiers check. Once the check clears. the car and title can be picked up. It usually takes 7-10 business days. The car is for sale locally so I may end the auction early. You are responsible for shipping charges and making shipping arrangements. I can meet the shipping company at my house to help assist. I didn't see the crack and it had to happen over the winter. When the auction ends and payment clears. I will order a dash pad for it. If for some reason you're going to change the color of the cars interior. let me know what color of pad you will want. otherwise i'll order a turquoise/aqua colored one.
