The car is finished in Turquoise Teal Metallic and has a complementary Black vinyl interior and a Black convertible roof. Overall. this car is a very decent attempt at creating a replica of the venerable GTO. This 1965 Tempest LeMans GTO Clone has a period correct 389cid motor that has been extensively rebuilt at a cost of $5. 00; it is now ready for its first oil change that will complete the run-in period. This motor is coupled to a Turbo 400 Transmission and a 12 Bolt Posi Rear End. The car has been upgraded with 4 wheel power disc brakes as well as electronic ignition/pickup (housed in the original distributor) and has power steering. This GTO Clone runs and drives very well. This car is a decent driver that has had a lot of work done to it mechanically. she has a very good interior (in need of carpet only). has a convertible top in good condition (needs a motor and/or hydraulics so manual at the moment) and needs a complete cosmetic exterior restoration to make it a very acceptable show car. She currently has Cragar Wheels installed that are attractive but too big for the car so they rub on occasion; they should be changed.
