The 1973 Porsche 911 Targa was the pinnacle open top Sports car of its era, nd after 1973 faced heavy emissions restrictions and requirements. Built in February of 1973, his early year production of this model was at its construction prime for the first generation, ong hood Targa design imported to the US.
Restoration Details:
(2nd Previous Owner)September of 1988 stripped to bare metal, epainted and all brite work replaced/restored to original as well as seals. Front Suspension replaced, ew glass, e-anodized wheels, e-chrome all window frames and door handles, ew carpeting (trunk and interior) German mohair factory, ower window motors replaced. @Milage 127,200. ( only 12,000 miles on the car since this restoration)

March of 1994 Engine and Transmission rebuild / upgrade with Mahle cylinder and piston set (increasing to 2.7 from 2.4 liter), ain bearings, iming Chain, alves, uides, tainless steel heater boxes, lutch and pressure plates, achined cylinder heads, V joints, raided brake lines, raided fuel lines installed, ebuilt and re-plated brake calipers, eplaced all wheel bearings, ngine and sheet metal powder coated. @127,210
March of 1996 upgraded Oil Cooler system installed @ 127,365 (see photos)
August 2002 Bilstein Shock absorbers @ 127,818
March of 2014 New Leather front seat covers & headrests, arger rubber bumper guards replaced by new smaller chrome bumper guards (see photos)
