1986 Porsche 911 Carrera
This was my everyday drive until I was involved in a slow speed rear end accident that cracked the rear bumper and dented the deck lid. While it was off the road, decided to repair the accident damage as well as a suspension pan replacement.
The suspension pan is from Restoration design.
The front suspension was replaced with; new outer tie rods, all joints, orsion bars, ushings and Blistein shocks.
Body was painted to the original color of Dark Blue using Deltron base coat clear coat.
All window and door seals have been replaced. The dash pad has been recovered in leather.
Car originally came from the dealer with the gold BBS 3 piece wheels that I had powder coated blue.
Except for the Recaro seats, he interior is the original design with the Champagne color door skins and rear jump seats.
Motor is now a 3.4 liter twin plug engine with Mahle cylinders and J&E pistons. Compression is 9.5/1.
Has a 964 style camshaft made made by Dougs Camshafts. Exhaust is Georges headers going into a Magnaflow exhaust with an electric cut off switch to manage the drone noise.
ECU has a chip from 911Chips.
Transmission is a 915 unit with all new syncros and an internal Wevo Shiftgate.
Air conditioning blows cold thanks to the Kueull front condenser, vaporator, ontrol unit and rear ACT condenser with fan.
The car is available for inspection with proper notice.
