1976 Porsche 912E, Excellent Driver, NO RESERVE!

For sale is my 1976 Porsche 912E. I purchased the car in April 2013 and I'm selling it to finance another Porsche project. According to maintenance records I have going back over 20 years. the car was in California. New Mexico. and Nevada before coming to Texas in recent years. During the time I've had it. I've driven it regularly on weekends. only in good weather. Runs. drives. and stops excellent. could be a daily driver with absolutely no further work. Body: Paint looks good. but does have some chips and dings. There are some holes in the body due to my removal of whale tail. front chin spoiler. U. S. rear bumper guards. and "flag" mirror (all of these accessories are included in the sale and could be reinstalled if desired). There is a rust bubble on the driver's front fender. and there is rust in the area under the battery (but not rusted through). All of these things should be clearly visible in the photos. Interior: Front seats look good. with no tears. The rest of the interior is in worse shape (carpet. headliner. door panels. dash pad. etc. ). and would need replacing. Some of the carpet kit. such as under the front seats. is completely missing. Again. most everything should be visible in the photos. Electrical: With the exception of the clock. ALL electrical/lights work on this car. including dash lights. horn. wipers. low and high beams. turn signals. brake lights. fog lights. backup lights. license plate lights. interior dome lights. even the light in the front trunk area. The car has an oil pressure gauge (912E didn't originally have oil pressure gauge). and it is hooked up to the sender with the oil pressure warning light. so the gauge doesn't function properly. reading "max" all the time. Other than that. the gauges function normally. including the odometer and trip odometer. Just passed TX safety inspection. I removed a non-functioning aftermarket stereo system and installed a radio delete plate. Motor: Original matching # motor with original fuel injection intact. and new OEM muffler. Runs excellent. Heater blower and hoses are missing from the engine compartment. but original exhaust/heat exchangers are in place. Thermal reactors are removed. but included with sale. Transmission: Shifts well. has short shift kit installed (which I REALLY like). From what I can see of the gear box # without having the car in the air. I don't think it is the original gearbox. In the last 1. 00 miles. I have spent approximately $6. 00 on work/parts. including:New 15x5. 5 reproduction Fuchs wheels with new Falken tires. New OEM muffler. New H4 headlights. New euro rear bumper guards. New decklid grill. New chrome mirror. Major rewiring of dash. New turn signal stalk and relay. Fuel injection work and major tuneup. New fuel pressure regulator. Lowering front and rear. with four wheel alignment. The last service was in July. less than 500 miles ago. Included with the sale of the car: Whale tail. front chin spoiler. original headlight assemblies. original rear bumper guards. "flag" mirror. and thermal reactors. Also included: Owner's manual. 912E workshop manual. two Porsche Certificates of Authenticity (from 1994 and 2002). and maintenance records going back to 1993.
