Description for Porsche 356 1959

Porsche 356 A 1959. This is a 59 A Coupe from the Factory in 1959 that has been Customized to Replicate a Speedster Many Years Ago. The Top was Cut Off and it Now has a Hartz Fabric Cabriolet Top. The Windshield is a Speedster Type as Shown in Pictures. The Seats were Replaced with Period Correct Speedster Type Seats and the Steering Wheel is a Moto Lita that Also Needs Attention. The Engine that is Included with the Sale is a 1961 356 B Engine from Early 1961 with Matching Case Numbers on all 3 Cases that Will Need a Rebuild. The Wheels on the Car are a Matching Set of 4 Lemerz Wide Fives Dated 6-62 from a 63 Cabriolet. This 356 was Kept on the Road All these Years by a Number of Owners Including Myself. I Drove it when I bought it with the 356 B Engine Included in the Sale and have Driven it up Until Now with a VW Engine that is Not Included with the Sale. Depending Upon Buyers Needs the 356 B Engine will be Installed (Bolted in Only) or can be Picked Up Locally with the Car. The Fenders were Rolled at the Edges to Allow for Larger Wheels that were Installed when I got it. The Under Carriage was Braced when the Top was Removed and it Feels Pretty Solid. This 356 Will Need a Full Restoration or Could be Brought Up to Track Car Condition.
