I'm selling my Porsche 928 with Renegade conversion. I took this car in trade as partial payment for a Dodge Viper. I am a car builder and collector and am selling this vehicle because I already own two other Porsche vehicles with Renegade conversions.
The Good: The exterior paint is in very good condition with no body damage. The engine was built by an Indianapolis speed shop and has a mild cam and holley carburetor. Engine has only 5,000 miles. I have driven it approximately 300 miles with no issues. Excellent 18" wheels (see photos) Front tires: 225/40ZR18; Rear tires: 265/35ZR18. All tires with little wear. Tinted windows. Good working headlights.
The Renegade conversion kit, ngine, heels and tires would cost more than my reserve price. I'm willing to drive to the Nashville, N area for shipping or pickup.
Odometer shows only 26,996 and is working at this time. Actual mileage is unknown.
The bad: Interior needs work (see photos). The dash has cracks as most 928s will. I'm including an aftermarket dash and pod cover with the sale. Carpet needs replacing but will include a new black carpet kit. The hood latch needs to be re-attached. When shifting gears, t times 2nd gear syncro is noisey. I have a good used 928 transaxle that I can include for an additional $500 over the winning bid.
