Description for Porsche 356 1957
Open to trades read below
I'm selling my 1957 Speedster replica, bought this car recently and I just don't have time to enjoy it. I put it in the shop after I purchased it to have it gone through for any issues. There are new brake lights, as sensor. Only thing left that needs fixing or it can be driven without is there's no parking brake, ipers don't wor, maybe some interior work needs to be done..For detailing probably a wet sander. It does idle low so maybe an adjustment. I am open to trades for an old bronco 65-76 or a boat that's between 21ft-28ft with trailer that needs no work.. Below is what the previous owner had sent with the work done on the car. Please check with your state each state is different with replicas. Car is sold as is. No warranty expressed. Below is a description from the gentleman I purchased the car from with more details
This car is an Intermeccanica roadster. I bought this about three years ago from a gentleman on The Samba.com site. The car originated in Arizona and is based on a 1974 Super Beetle pan with a ton of extras. There is so much to describe about the car so I will break down the description by: Exterior Interior Engine Exterior Once I got that car (can see this in the picture) I stripped it down and repainted the car with 4 coats of Porsche Silver and 3 coats clear and shaved the door handles and installed a shaved door kit from AutoLoc. All suspension had been updated and disc brakes have been added at all for wheels. The wheels have been updated to Porsche wheels and a custom wood steering wheel has been added. Interior For the seats I added custom seats with seats and seat covers with added foam. Although the wiring was solid with the car but some of them were exposed as you looked up under the dash. So I built a custom interior complete with: Sound deadening material kick panels wrapped in black vinyl Black carpet Door panels wrapped in grey with custom 356 logo Custom vinyl dash Custom tweed interior (backend of the car where the subwoofer resides is wrapped in the same custom interior along with the custom arm-rest) The sound system was a very basic sound system with the entire back end of the car was turned into a rudimentary speaker box. I replaced the entire system modern system including: New 8" JBL sub Custom subwoofer box. Doors have JBL full-range 6X9 in doors Alpine 400 watt power amp. Pioneer DEH 6400BT CD/Bluetooth head unit Engine Finally I completely rebuilt the engine. When I received the car it was had a 1975cc. The engine is now a 2075 cc, hole engine. Had the block work done Head work done here in Omaha All new values Stroked crank New "stroker" pistons New clutch New throttle cable (from pedal all the way back to carbs) Dual carbs So now the engine is a 2075cc and runs like a dream! Extra stuff you might be interested in The car is registered as 1957 Porsche 356 kit car
This car does not have the convertible top on the car. Although I have all of the hardware I chose to make it strictly a roadster. All of the hardware for the top will be included in the sale. Title as 1957 speedster replica. Sold as is, here is. I am selling locally and have the right to end bid at any time. A $500 non refundable deposit must be made within 24hrs of end of bidding.
