Description for Porsche 912 1969
Here is a once in a life time opportunity to own this Beautiful 1969 Porsche 912 LWB Sunroof coupe. This is a 3 owner car with 147k mi that is highly documented since its purchase. The car was Originally sold and spent most of its life in California and then moved to Colorado where it spent its next 20 years and then the last here in Wi. All three owners were seniors and babied this car throughout its life. The car is 100 % Rust free and solid as they come. Never restored only one repaint done back in 2008 and it still looks wonderful. The Original tangerine paint shines like new and only has a few minor imperfections like stone chips etc. They were touched up and look presentable. I would say its one high end repaint away from Concourse condition. The black vinyl seats are in amazing condition and look like new. The carpets are also very clean with no stains. The headliner is Original and in good shape could use a good cleaning. The dash is perfect with no cracks as all. The door panels are also in excellent condition as are the rear seats and Rear speaker shelf. The car has a Cd player that sounds great. Mechanically the car is amazing. It starts right up and runs very smooth. It has excellent power and doesn't have any major leaks at all. The transmission is the Rare 5 speed for this car and it shifts great through the gears.I drove the car home about 3 hours and it was an amazing ride the suspension is very tight and makes no noises .The Original Solex carburators were replaced with Newer Solex carbs with solid shafts. I do have the Original ones and also the rebuild kits that go with them. The car sits on Michelin tires that are in excellent condition and also are the rims with center caps. Ok so now for the Important things. Finding a 1969 912 with a Sunroof and 5 speed is very are and add on it being a LWB coupe. The 1969 Model is what is highly collectible today and there is less then 100 Sunroof cars to exsis, nbsp;Having larger flares from the factory and re designed guages and Its special color of Tangerine that makes it even more Unique . These cars will only rise in value as the 911 cars have sky rocketed in today's market . To find one that was never Ruste, as original floor pans that are still like new ( see photos) the trunk area is also like new I have pictures showing spare tire area and also where the battery is . Not one spec of rust anywhere . The engine compartment is like new and also is 100 % rust free. This is a true Survivor and Who ever buys it will get an amazing car. I am setting the reserve at a very fair price I feel this car will not make auctions end. I will end the auction if I get an offer that is acceptable to me. Please do not ask me what i will take Make me a offer and I can only say yes or no. Read my feedback as I take pride in selling amazing cars. I always want to be honest and up front so there is no suprises. Please call me if you have any questions about this amazing 912 Sunroof Coupe. Steve 954-464-3515Car comes with Clear title, inder full of its service history manuals etc. I have a box full of many new parts including push rods, riginal carbs. seal, ew brake pads and so much more. Original keys as well. Enjoy the auction I highly doubt this car last's 7 day's//What does car need? There is a small dent on pass side headlamp chrome Not an expensive item. The Sunroof motor is bad and will need to be rebuilt or buy a new one. The sunroof slides back manual now until its hooked up. Like i said earlier depending if you want a beautiful driver or concourse condition car. If someone gave it a high end repaint it would be stunning But I don't think its needed The paint is beautiful and the stone chips give it character and you can drive it not just look at it.
