Description for Porsche 911 1991
On Oct-08-15 at 15:11:43 PDT, eller added the following information:This car is in awesome shape, think I am the third owner, he second was the dealership I bought it from, he first owner really kept good care of this car for its first 23 years, he owner of the dealership told me recently that the first owner kept it garaged at all times and used it an average of 4,000 miles per year only. I have also kept in my garage since last August 2014 when I bought it and have driven it maybe 1,500 miles since then.
I can take pics of any area you want but I have examined the car exhaustively several times and I can tell you that is in an awesome shape. As far as rust, here is not rust whatsoever, s you probably know PORSCHE in the early 90's started addressing the rust issues previous years models had, ince then they started welding the cars as an unitized construction, ouble-sided, ith zinc-galvanized steel body, ars from these years to nowadays handle the elements in a much better way specially if the maintenance and cleaning has been performed correctly as is in the case of my car.
I havereceived a couple of questions about the oil leak, nbsp;I can tell you that until the last oil changed (less than 80 miles ago) when I performed its regular maintenance there was NOT LEAKS AT ALL!!! after investigating this leak is most likely due to the fact that the shop utilized a Full synthetic Mobil 1 which is a very thin/fine motor oil for the tolerances that these engines had in the early 90's, am hoping that next week when I change the oil againthis leak is gone (crossing fingers!!) BUT I am a honest man and I had to disclose the "facts" of my car as they are now.
Send me you email address to send you the pics or send you a link to my dropbox. Thanks for you interest.
