Description for Porsche 356 1964
This is a numbers matching car that is virtually rust free - there is one spot in the passenger side seat area that has rusted thru, ut it is very minor. Clear PA title. Car has been in storage for 30 years in a controlled environment. 52,000 miles, ar comes with many brand new parts acquired over the years, ike exhaust, eater boxes, ubber trim, tc. All car glass is wrapped up for protection and can be inspected at time of pickup. The 4 wheel disc brakes have been removed and inspected and simply need new seals and hoses, he pistons move freely. Engine has been gone thru and has good compression and oil pressure. Gearbox shifts nicely and car rolls and steers well. The wiring is all there, adio, tc. and car jack. I stopped the restoration project and have chosen to sell it for a reasonable price. The car is being listed on other sites so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Feel free to give a ring with any questions 6103927020. A $1,000 deposit is due within 24 hours of sale end and car must be picked up within a week of sale end in Hellertown PA. Thanks for looking! Also - please ignore the 1957 barn find Sub Title. I've revised it 3 times and it won't go away!On Jan-01-16 at 08:45:26 PST, eller added the following information:
To answer many of the questions - There is only one small rust spot in the rear seat area. Floor pans, nder carriage, tc. is solid. The picture of the engine complete is the same as the one partially disassembled. I wanted to inspect it thoroughly to make sure it was mechanically sound, nd it is. If I were to finish the restoration myself, would leave the engine intact as it is, ut clean and paint sheet metal parts. All glass is intact and interior is complete. Headliner is there as well. I don't know of any parts it needs but there are probably some odds and ends.
