Description for Porsche 356 1961

This is a beautiful 1961 Karman Notchback Coupe, uilt by Emory Motorsports in 2004 for Vintage Racing. No expense was spared to make this a front running, eliable, asy to drive race car. It was a solid straight car that was media blasted, ppears to just had a longitional replaced and otherwise still wears all of its original sheet metal.

It has a vintage legal 1620cc Porsche motor, uilt by Rothsport of Portland Oregon featuring;

NOS Case

Scatt Billet Crankshaft,

Carrillo Rods,

Elgin full race cam,

Escure pistons and Heads, ith 12/1 compression,

Solex 40P11 Carbs

180mm light flywheel Kennedy Clutch.

The top end of the motor was just freshened with new rings and a competition valve job.

The Transaxle is a 741/2 with a GT limited slip and close ratio gearing which suits most westcoast tracks.

Finished in a unique Burnt Orange with a Black interior and all the Emory touches that make this a good Looking, ast, un and Reliable Race Car that runs at the pointy end of the pack. Many podium finishes.
