German market 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet with the rare wood dash option. It has had an all steel slope nose and fender flares added some time later with a real Porsche Turbo "tea tray" on the deck lid. Mechanically. it is a bone stock 1985 Carrera and drives like one. starts easily and runs and shifts well and passes emissions easily. There is no rust. The interiour is great. as is the top. Seats are original and soft with no cracks. The paint is OK at best. but not good. closer than ten feet you can see some cracks. chips and some sort of spots that do not come off on the front. The radio does not work. the a/c is all there but only blows cool not cold. There is something going on with the rear wheels. the left one sticks out farther than the right and it rubs the fender when you go over bumps or make a right turn a little hard. The car looks very straight but the trailing arms do not look like they match (different color). maybe it is in the trailing arms?This a low milage. 60. 00 miles. great running Carrera with no rust and nice interior and top. but It has some issues. paint and the rear wheel rubs the fender. This is the way to go if you want the Turbo "look" without the Turbo expense. with this car you get the off boost power. ease of passing emissions and the low maintenance and good fuel milage of the Carrera but with the Turbo look.
