Available at Auction is one of the last Model year 356C. I purchased this car from a dealer in Kansas with the intent of restoring it to become a good looking reliable driver. 40 years later I have run out of time and energy so the car is for sale.
When I purchased the car it did NOT have the original engine and the hood had been replaced with one beautifully made of fiberglass. Other than the engine and hood I believe all the other parts of the car came with the car when new. I have included many pictures of the car and engine. All of the windows are intact including a new front windshield and the original rear window. New rubber window seals come with the windshield and rear window. The engine was running when I removed it from the car in order to refresh the engine with new 1600cc pistons and cylinders, which are included with the engine. All engine tin was removed and dipped to remove all paint and grease, they are ready for painting All the engine heater flapper boxes and connecting pipes were dipped as well. Their is no muffler with the engine. In the years since I took the engine apart many screws and nuts to reconnect the various parts have disappeared but the important stuff is all there. Look at the pictures carefully and ask me any questions you may have. I have started the auction at a very low price and set a very low reserve price as well.
