1979 PORSCHE 930 TURBO “LOW MILES, VERY ORIGINAL AND CORRECT, FRESHLY REBUILT ENGINE, GREAT CONDITION, WELL MAINTAINED!!”
VIN 9309800623
The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this gorgeous 1979 PORSCHE 930 TURBO. This car is VERY ORIGINAL, and would make a fine addition to any collection. This car, believed to be a 4 owner car (we have ownership history), has been lovingly maintained over the years and remains in wonderful condition. This iconic car is TRIPLE BLACK, and offers stunning cosmetics and mechanicals as well as performance that only a TURBO can offer. The car is STOCK AND VERY ORIGINAL. The engine was just rebuilt from the crankshaft up by Protosport of Pompton Lakes, NJ. PROTOSPORT is a Porsche marque specialist. It has new cylinders, pistons, valves, cams, turbocharger, all seals and a restored correct original exhaust system. The engine runs strong, with good power and torque!! The BLACK PAINT is gorgeous, with deep shine and luster. The BLACK interior is in great condition, the leather on the sport seats is smooth and buttery, and only minor wear and great patina on the drivers seat bolster. The original leather dash is in wonderful condition, but has some stretching near the passenger side windshield. The quality of the car extends to the original carpets as well. She has her correct “sugar scoop” headlights and periscope headlight washers. The correct, refinished FUCHS wheels are polished and are in excellent condition; the tires have 75% tread remaining. The car was just the recipient of a full $21,000 service, including a full engine rebuild, and restored exhaust system. It is amazingly fast, and dynamic to drive. It has her Porsche certificate of authenticity (COA). All systems work as they should, and she needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner.
