1964 Porsche 356C 1600C Reutter Coupe

Description for Porsche 356 1964

Running and driving Porsche 356C restoration project. Has a 912 engine(#831729) installed with rebuilt Solex carburetors. I do not have the original engine. Verbal representation from previous owner that engine was recently re-built. Engine runs well. New clutch. Original transaxle. Body needs work, has bondo and rust throughout. At some point this car took a hit on the passenger front fender with subsequent poor repair work. Missing carpets and miscellaneous interior parts.

6 volt car. Wiring for engine has been converted to 12V, remaining electrical still needs to be converted. Gas tank currently out of car and included- very likely needs to be cleaned and re-conditioned.Up until recently car had not been on road since the late 80's. Car has been running on clean temporary tank.
