Description for Porsche 911 SC Coupe 1978
Alright Third time is a charm!!! Apparently people do not know how to Bid, or what "Buy It Now" means. Twice now people have committed to purchase this 911 by way of the buy it now button, and have not followed through. Due to either not having their funds in order, or being from Poland, and not understanding what buy it now means. This course is beyond irritating, not to mention costly, in terms of insertion fees. Therefore I am now listing this car for the third time. This time will be without reserve, and with no "buy it now option. Do Not Contact Me asking about a buy it now option. However PLEASE DO contact me with condition questions, and I prefer you announce yourself prior to bidding by contacting me directly (608) 354-6787. I am also restricting this sale to Domestic U.S. buyers only, and only with eBay buying experience with good feedback. If you do not have eBay buying history with great feedback then contact me at (608) 354-6787 prior to bidding. I will reserve the right to retract any bids that do not meet these requirements. You can learn more about us at . This car is for sale locally, and we reserve the right to discontinue this auction if it sells locally. That being said we will jot deviate from the advertised price listed on our website..... This is a great example of a fun and fantastic air Numbers Matching cooled 911. This car would make a great driver for someone just looking to have an unrestored example just to bomb around the countryside on nice summer days. We have limited amount of ownership history on this one, however we do have the original books and can trace back some of that if interested. The car starts up on the first turn of the key, and drives out strong. No apparent oil leaks, or excessive smoking. Some typical rust bubbles are present (see close up pictures), repainted panels are operant, however it maintains its original color. Looks nice from ten feet, and paints shines nicely, however has chips and scratches, and could benefit from a re-paint and having the typical rust bubbles addressed. Shifts well, no popping out of gear or anything. The air conditioning pictured is not operational, and was a dealer installed item. The interior is in decent shape some age wrinkles/ware but no rips or tears (one nick in the piping on the driver side seat, see pic). With the factory whale tale, and Silver on black leather it has the right look. We can assist with Shipping Nationwide. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have, you can reach us directly 608-354-6787.
