Description for Porsche 911 1991
1991 Porsche C4 Red |
|
We are pleased to offer for sale this very well preserved 1991 Porsche Carrera 4 Coupe in Guards Red over Black leather interior. We bought this car in January of 2016 as part of our personal collection but now have decided to sell a few cars and sadly this one is to go. This car has been meticulously cared for as viewed in the pictures. The interior is original and the carpet is excellent as the car has had two sets of mats to protect it. The seats are in very good shape with no tears and very little wear. A paint meter shows most and possibly all the paint is original. The right rear quarter shows 2 to 3 mils thicker but no damage can be detected and the paint looks exactly the same as the rest of the car. It retains its original Owner's Manual, Blaupunkt Stereo manual, Original Warranty & Maintenance book and original Porsche compressor. We also have numerous service records. The previous owner bought the car in Portland Oregon in 1998 at 28,984 miles. We bought the car in January 2016 at 52,920 miles. It now has 53,841 miles. It is equipped with Power Windows, Driver side Airbags, Factory AM/FM Stereo, and Electric Sunroof. We ran a recent CARFAX resulting in zero accidents or damage. The VIN and engine number show the car to be a later 1991 build which is after the factory head gasket improvement was made. The car runs and drives very nicely as it should. We just serviced the car and replaced the rear shocks. The air conditioning blows quite cold and is even satisfactory for our Arizona summers. We at Brighton Motorsports are automotive enthusiasts first. Our business is focused more on mechanical repair and restoration. We are a licensed dealer but the cars we sell are either our personal cars or customer's cars, so we have more intimate knowledge about the cars. We do not have a salesperson, so you will be speaking to someone that can answer any question you might have. We welcome and encourage inspection of the car and we will assist you with shipping quotes from qualified shippers. Feel free to contact us with any questions. Some basic Porsche 964 info: "A new naturally aspirated engine called the M64 was used for 964 models, with a flat-6 displacement of 3.6 litres. Porsche substantially revised the suspension, replacing torsion bars with coil springs and shock absorbers. Power steering and ABS brakes were added to the 911 for the first time; both were standard. The exterior bumpers and fog lamps became flush with the car for better aerodynamics. A new electric rear spoiler raised at speeds above 50 mph (80 km/h) and lowered down flush with the rear engine lid at lower speeds. A revised interior featured standard dual airbags beginning in 1990 for all North American production cars. A new automatic climate control system provided improved heating and cooling. Revised instrumentation housed a large set of warning lights that were tied into the car's central warning system, alerting the driver to a possible problem or malfunction." |
