History: I purchased this car from a 914 enthusiast who did a great deal of work on the car. I bought the car as a non running project. I found out that the coil was bad after getting it started and I sent it to Compu-tronix in Southern California. They have never sent me a replacement coil nor returned my original unit. It is rather frustrating and I am done waiting for them. I have decided to sell the car the way it sits.
Here is a quick list of things the previous owner did.
Battery box replaced
Bilstein Shocks
Upgraded torsion bars
Upgraded springs
Front and rear sway bars
TimND LED gauges
Front turn signals LED
Rear tail lights and turn signals LED
New lenses for all lights/turn signals
Classic Car Seats heated leather seats
New brakes and master cylinder from PMB
Alpine radio with bluetooth and USB connected to Alpine speakers in 6.5 inch kick panels
Top res-prayed with texture
All rubber seals replacedCable-shift.com cable shifter with custom bolt in floor mount.
New carpet and floor mats
New windshield
New wheel bearings in all four wheels
Custom Microsquirt fuel injection with O2 sensor feedback
Heater system complete with defrost together and working
New axles and CV joints
Gas struts for front and rear trunks
New vinyl for targa section
Momo steering wheel
Here is also a description of the car.
Exterior: This car was originally a great color blue. Color code L50E Adriatic blue. It has since been painted yellow. The paint is decent on this car for a driver but should be redone. I have not found any rust on this car and the battery box was redone by the previous owner. All of the doors, decklid, hood close properly.
Interior: The interior of this car is in nice shape with a great seat of sport seats. All of the gauges work properly.
Engine/Transmission: I found out the coil failed and sent it back to compu-tronix to have them test it and send me a replacement. They never sent me back my coil nor did they send a replacement. I am rather fed up and ready to move on.
