Description for Porsche 911 1990
1990 Porsche Carrera 2, 2 wheel drive version. 100% original paint all around, paint metered and tested. The top has been replaced about 4 years ago by previous owner but correct and to proper Porsche specs. Note the taught rear window. Power Top!If you have wanted a 911 that has the real look of a 911 but some of the modern conveniences of even today's cars, including a driver's airbag and power in the seats, plus a powered drop top, the 1990 is your go-to car. With prices jumping 25% since last year, this is a steal for the mileage.
This car has manuals, two keys (rare for this year), complete tool kit, and a recent major service. Not only is it a recent service (including timing belts, all gaskets, oil filter, air filter, ignition cables, spark plugs, draining and refilling brake fluids, fixing rear engine lid struts, and oil change) but at the cost of $3,741. Service was performed by Porsche of Conshohoken on March 22, 2017. All 4 tires are brand new. The tires were replaced in 2017. Battery is brand new as well, replaced just 2-3 months ago.
Rims are original to the car and are nearly flawless with no visible "rash" on any of the walls.
All gauges are accurate and work flawlessly, including the clock.
No rips or tears on leather, no re-dying of leather. It is THAT good.
This is car show ready...and while all 1990's have their faults, and this is no exception, you can rely on the fact that records dating back to 2012 are present. Both current and former owner used same shop for service. Since so few miles were put on the car (less than 1,177 miles per year), few things were ever needed. This car is serviced to be able to drive daily without issue now. Find me any 1990 on here that will make that claim.
You will not find a nicer example, that is drive ready, with 4 new tires, a brand new full service and manuals/books, tools and a "cool" cell phone and armrest that were added as options back in the day...for less money and with lower miles. Similar examples with all original paint and under 40k miles are selling in the mid 50k range.
Sound system has been temporarily dismantled to allow for starter kill option by former owner. The radio can be hooked up easily but this allows all power to be cut off and actually avoid the need for a batter tender. Any and all power used by the car while storing is cut off by a switch in the trunk. I like it but you can easily integrate the radio if you wish for $200 or so....or do it yourself.
My feedback as a seller of Ferraris, Porsches and other cars say the rest....
Selling to buy a Lamborghini. My latest bug - you know what I am talking about.
