Offered for sale is this very decent 1974 Porsche 911 Coupe. It has been stored and off the road and is now ready for a mechanical/cosmetic restoration.Rebuild this car and make some money! All the air cooled 911's are going way up. 1974's are one the collector's favorite years. Hagerty data that combines public auction sales and private sales shows that the 1974-1977 Porsche 911 has increased the most in average sale price of any classic car in recent years. Good project!

The body on this car appears good overall with nice fitting panels including the desirable whale tale and rear fender flares. There is some needed typical rust repair to the widow pillars, doors and undercarriage which would benefit from replacement floor pans. The car's glass looks real good and can be reused. The interior has aftermarket seats and comes also with the original front seats which do have cracks that should be expected for 43 year old leather. Some of the interior has been removed. It could use a retrim if one was to perform a complete restoration. The car has the infamous Fuchs wheels that are original to the car.

The car's engine will start. It has the highly desirable weber style 6 carburetor setup! They do need to be tuned/cleaned up but the car will start with the assistance of starting fluid. The pedal cluster will need to be replaced like most of the early year cars. I drove the car for a number of years and it is a great deal of fun.

Overall, a very good 911 coupe for restoration.
