1957 PORSCHE 356A COUPEBEAUT, SIMPLICITY AND PURITY IN DESIGN
1957 Porsche 356A coupe was recently removed from 13 years dry storage . This is a very late T, built approximately March of 1957 . The engine is a T5 with Weber downdraft carburetors and a sport exhaust . A lovely black on black car which is the original exterior color from the factory, overall it is very soli, straight and pretty . The current mileage reads 2648, but the true mileage is unknown .The car was driven into dry storage about 2005 and other than some recent fresh fue, has not been mechanically touched since . It start, run, shift, drives and stops but should be checked over and sorted before regular use. It was repainted about 20 years ago and it does show some imperfections , but is perfectly presentable as a driver quality ca, we just gave it a bath and it actually looks quite nice , has a good appearance overall and shows quite well . This would be a great car to set up for rallies or events . Overal, in the right hand, this car has great potential and if you are familiar with "A" coupe, you will see that right away . These early coupes never go out of style and have always been extremely desirable .
