Description for Porsche 928 1978
I previously listed the car and decided not to sell this car but I bought a third Motorcycle and another car I have yet to pick up because of space issues. Hence its time. The problem is once I sell it I cannot replace it. This is a great driver. It has original paint and interior. It had set for 20 years when I bought the car but was running. I own a shop that works on European and Classic Cars. Replaced: 1) New Tires 20122) Timing chain 20133) Water pump 20134) All Fluids. hoses and belts 20135) New Plugs & Wires 20136) New Battery 20137) New Starter 20138) New Master Cyl 20139) Brake fluid flush 2013 10) New Brakes 201311) New A/C Compressor 201412) New A/C lines 201413) New oil & Filter 201414) Repair and replace all grounds 201515) Rebuilt the front bushings 201316) Cleaned radiator and complete system 2013 The car drives incredible. The engine is like a turbine. The transmission shifts great. I love the way it shifts and the car performs really well. It is a wonderful car to cruise at 100. It is rock solid. Cornering in these cars you forget its 36 years old. It has the original radio and even the fidelity of the original speakers is pretty good considering the age. The radio works great. The A/C is very cold. The only thing we have not repaired is the windshield fluid pump. The hoses and pump need to be replaced. It also needs a cap on the windshield fluid. We recently replaced the alternator and repair two shorts in the wiring. The paint is original on the car. There is a door ding behind the drivers door. Overall I would rate the car as a really good driver it was at a car show Saturday and people do come over but by no means a #1 car. It mechanically is very sound. The interior as a survivor its is very good shape but has a crack in the dash cover that can be seen in the pics. The drivers seat will need to be sewn right at the pleat refer to pics. The rubber donut around the ignition is missing we lost it. Car comes with all the original tools and spare. I would say it is a #2 car all day. If you have any questions please call Alex 956-404-1552. If your calling for reserve it is very reasonable place your highest bid and find out.
