Description for Porsche 911 1976

For sales is a 1976 Targa 911 S with steel slant nose C2 turbo body conversion.I bought this car in 1991 from Diamond Star in OK who specialized in customized all steel slant nose conversions. They stripped the car down, installed all new weather stripping, front oil cooler, leather seats, carpeting, Racing Dynamic 17" wheels, black powder-coated Targa band, and many more updates to create this terrific Porsche. Dumonts Porsche center in OK completed the engine conversion using a 1987 3.2L, as well as rebuilt the 5 speed transmission. This car has been well maintained for 28 yrs by the current owner. Garage kept, Texas car.
No mods to the 3.2L, this is from a 1987 donor car with the installation/conversion done by Dumont's of OKC back in 1991. When the fuel lines were replaced, it was a good time to remove a few of the engine parts and get them powder coated to give a nice clean look. Not much done, just simple powder coating that keeps it clean. Car has updated struts, done by a shop here in San Antonio. Tires are new, <300 miles, Sumitomo HTR P02. Why those tires, A, A, 500 treadwear and good reviews. The tires standards are the ratings, prefer not to pay for the tire name.
Body is nearly perfect, some molding is pushing out on the lower body panel but not hideously. Has updated rear lights, the older ones had too many spider cracks - just over time this happens. Since I owned this car for 28 years, no mods were done done to it aside from the paint job. Over the past 28 years, the car had paint pits due to the nature of the slope nose and turbo flares.
Targa Top - nearly perfect, recovered about 4 yrs ago by company in Houston, TX
Has front oil cooler, might not sound like much but it is essential to keeping engine temps level. Car holds 12 quarts with the front cooler

As for leaks, a drop or two that drip but very little, but this is mostly because of the new style gaskets that helps seal those valve covers.
Think it may need a cold start since the first 30 sec upon starting the car it runs a bit rich, vid below to show it is a pretty casual thing.

Car has the 99,100 miles as documented on ebay site as well as clean TX title. Engine likely has around the original 27k ('91 installation) plus the 45k i put on since buying the car, total of 72k. This is my buy it once and have it for life car, not a daily driver but just casual as needed use.
If you like, you can hire a inspection from ebay.
