Description for Porsche 911 1984
This outstanding 911 Carrera cabriolet features 6 cylinder, manual 5-speed transmission, 17" wheels, clean history, and just under 57800 miles. A true enthusiast car with the slantnose conversion.Purchased new in Carlsbad California by me in 1984. Has galvanized slantnose fenders, hood, rear widebody fenders and whale tail and was converted it to the 930 turbo look-alike 15Gs. Way ahead of it's time. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship. I didn't clean the motor and it doesn't leak a drop. A beautiful dual exhaust -Ruff Deep Dish 17 inch chrome wheels installed 5Gs. An Alpine CD stereo with speakers and subwoofer and several amps. Top of the line back then at least 3Gs. Yes this conversion is a classic from the Scarface 80s era as well. This is what we did back then (if you had the money). Sheepskins those were popular too I covered the seats with sheepskin's and just uncovered one for the photo - So The seats have never been directly sat on and -you'll be the first - and they're perfect. Now when you drive this car people most people haven't seen one like it. And they really want to know what it is. People freak. And this Guards Red Cabriolet is a fine example. 1980's Porsche's are race bread handling cars and as comfortable for local commutes, as are competent at performance extremes. Check out the pictures - look at the motor it's been in my garage with an occasional drive and oil change for the last 25 years-if you're looking for a super dependable car this 3 liter air cooled exasperated motor of the 911 era has unquestionable reliability. These motors are bulletproof -You'll be hard-pressed to find a cleaner car than this. Please take your time and zoom in on all the photos this car is like brand freaking new This Beauty is almost perfect. And you will be so happy to have it. The top was folded down for a few years so you can see a few wrinkles on the sides, but that will come out. It's the original top from 1984 both the top and the headliner are in excellent shape, Including the plastic rear window which is still clear. Has the original tool kit wth the clear plastic gloves and plastic tire mat.
