1986 930 TURBO For sale is a 1986 930 in above average to great condition car has just had a complete service and transmission rebuild as the car has been in storage for 15 years by the second owner from new. We received this car like some others the customer thought he was saving the car by not driving it and found out that the car had received bad gas. And then needed to be started after all that time. So we got a new battery and then found that it needed both fuel pumps and then we smelt the gas and found out that was the problem for sure so we took out the gas tank and sent it out to be completely flushed and metal conditioned serviced and reconditioned with metal conditioner inside and then striped to bare metal and then epoxyed and undercoated to factory spec. Then we will the tank was out we replaced the sending unit with a factory one. Now we have fuel but the entire fuel system needed cleaned so we replaced wires NGK spark plugs. ischarge box. orm up regulator. uel filters and now she was running like new. The customer told me that 2nd gear syncro was a bother when he was driving and might need a new clutch we decided for a R and I and found that the synchros were bad in second gear so at the transmission shops recommendation we should replace 2nd gear and the synchros and told us we never have a better time to just do all the synchros so we did 1 2 3 and 4th and then replaced second gear at that time. Then we did replace the clutch and pressure platt and release bearing and also replaced the shifter rod ends and we also replaced all nine of the flywheel bolt with factory 930 102 206 00 bolts and all nine of the 930 074 196 03 pressure plate bolts . Now with the tranny is finished we adjusted all the valves and replaced oil return tubes will we had the motor out we then replaced the turbo oil feed line and also replaced the alternator and ground strap along with the engine sound matt 911 556 890 1 and also replaced the engine lid shocks 2 x 911 512 331 02. and now the tranny and motor are finished. So we took it on a test drive and didn't get out of the garage. Couldn't get the brakes to work so we found that there was no brake fluid to any of the brakes and they were looked up so sent them out for rebuilding them to factory spec and had all bolts and calipers hardware zinc plated and installed factory brake pads and sensors. Along with turning all four of the rotors and then replaced the soft lines between the calipers and the body set off four from pelican parts DOT approved stainless steel lines. Now brakes work like new and look like new. We tried another test drive and found that the like new michelin tires that he had on the car where square After 14 years so time for the new Bridgestone's potenza RE-11 and she now starts and drives like new.
