Description for Porsche 911 1975
I am selling my numbers matching 1975 Porsche 911 US Carrera Coupe in driver condition. The car is Grand Prix White with Red Russet interior. The car is a sunroof delete coupe and weighs 2350 lbs per the local weighing station. The car is #183 out of 395 US Carrera.Recent Service
The car starts everytime and has had the following done recently at Motorsport SLC:
Alternator, belt, oil change, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel accumulator, agm battery, alignment, turbo tie rods. Mileage is currently showing 12K miles (5 digit odo) but true mileage is unknown.
Exterior and Interior
The car is not concours, but is an excellent driver/restoration candidate. Paint is a 10 footer. Interior is in good shape. Dashboard has no crack but is faded. AC compressor has been taken out, though the condensor and lines still exist. The undercarriage and frame is very clean with no rust and no accident. There is however one rust spot under the rubber where the deck lid meets the body (please see picture). Front fog lights and rear bumperettes have been deleted for a cleaner look.
Mechanical
2.7 engine runs very strong. The 2.7 US Carrera did not come with thermal reactors. Exhaust sounds great. Suspension is tight and all bushings are in great shape. Steering is extremely responsive. 915 Transmission has zero grind and feels very tight through all gears.
Ownership History
I purchased the car from a dealer in LA last year. Prior to the dealer, the car was owned by a gentleman in Hawaii for a long time. I am selling to combine a couple of cars (this and my 996GT3 into one).
The car will come with the oem Fuchs 15x7 fronts and 15x8 rears which look very similar to the current RSR Fuchs, but has been freshly powdercoated in Grand Prix White.
