This 914 came from Arizona and is super solid and clean throughout. The floors. longitudinals. trunks and engine compartment are in excellent shape on this unmolested 914. The interior is super clean and tight. The pictures speak for themselves on this 914. This 914 drives very well. It puts such a smile on your face! Everything feels properly tight and sorted. Transmission shifts well and it pulls well in all the gears. Engine sounds and runs excellent and the brakes stop this lightweight perfectly. Exterior - I would rate the exterior at a B. It did see a repaint within the last 10 years. The tape job was not excellent so there is overspray on some seals and other areas. The sanding job was not great. The door jams and trunk compartments were not painted - exterior sheet metal only. There are no tape lines around original production stickers and door jams. The trim is not in the best of shape – needs windshield and sail panel trim (see photos in Flickr link)Door panel gaps are excellent and shows the strong structural condition of this dry 914. While the paint job is not excellent. leaving the front/rear compartments and door jams in their original condition and not repainted provides an open book as to the condition of this 914. The rear decklid is slightly tweaked – appears to be tension at the hinge/hinge hat area. Interior – The interior is in great shape. All components and hardware are present and work. The restored seats are excellent. Some basket weave trim is missing around the stereo unit. All gauges work and look good! Dash has a plastic cover applied. The metal on this 914 is excellent. Decklid and hood sheet metal are in great shape with no rust or bubbles occurring around the creases. Original metal in the trunk is in great shape. Compartment near the gas tank/cowl is excellent and original. No owners manual or books. Please contact me for more information.
