Description for Porsche 911 1976
For sale is a COA 1976 Porsche 911S, non-sunroof, no factory AC, no power brake or electric windows = no fuss. It does have heat. All the upgrades needed to address the 2.7 issues have been completed prior to my purchase in 2015. I've put on roughly <4k miles in the last +4 years.Worked completed prior to my ownership (I have partial records) as indicated by previous owner:
- Engine and transaxle were rebuilt at 110,000 miles. Engine had case stud inserts installed and has Raceware head studs. Heads were gone through with new valves and guides. Has new chains and pressure fed chain tensioner update. Ignition has ignitor pick up in distributer. 5 bladed engine cooling fan has been replaced with 11 bladed fan for more reliable cooling. Transaxle was resealed and had 1st 4th syncros, syncro hubs and sliders replaced. Shift bushings replaced shifts like a 915 should. Clutch and pressure plate replaced I believe has sport clutch. Performance products exhaust, engine does not have thermal reactors.
- Thermal reactors replaced with SSI heat exchangers
- Work performed at 139,000: Front and rear Koni shocks replaced. Replace axle boots and repack axles. Bleed brakes. Drains and refill transaxle with Swepco 201. Rebush pedal assembly.
- New headliner and window seals. exterior window trim re-blacked out at paint shop with epoxy. Interior professionally restored. new carpet. door panels perfect. All gauges work including clock.
Worked completed during my ownership and I have records:
- Complete replacement of fuel systems including chassis fuel lines (custom made by Len Cummings-find him on Pelican Parts forum) by independent shop; replaced fuel filter, fuel accumulator, pierburg fuel pump, fuel injector lines and injector (replaced just one and have 5 on hand/spare)
- Complete tune up (plugs, cap/rotor, plug wires)
- Back date heater (still has original)
- Installed Rennline floorboards and blower motor cover
- Installed front/rear sway bar bushings, new brackets, and rear drop links
- Installed new rear taillights lens
- Spare parts include with car at asking price (hawk pads, SS brake lines, fuel injectors, injector lines, turn signal stock, hoses...etc)
