What we have here is a stalled PROJECT!! This is a #'s Matching 356 C Coupe...
A lot of work already done by the previous owner who couldn't finish it, then I finished a little moreand bought a lot of new parts to complete it but unfortunately I have to sell it also..
What is done and need to be done:
New Metal welded in, new floor pans and longitude. The underside, front trunk, and engine bay were all sand blasted down to bare metal, metalprep, 2 coats of POR15 and 2 coats of Wurth Stonegard Undercoating. Most of the body work is done, detailed long board sanding needs to be complete to get it real nice.
Notes from the previous owner: Engine was rebuilt with:-An SC Crank was installed with Standard bearing onall the mains.-Standard bearings on the Connecting Rods.-Mahle Pistons and Cylinders, 82.5 (1600cc). Not New.-Sheet metal was re-finished and replaced,-When I got the carthe engine was out and Carburetors came in a box needing to be rebuilt, I had them rebuilt here.-Windshield and rear window are in good shape with good rubber.-Seats were newly covered as seen in pictures.
Then I put the engine back in the car to test run it for this sale.. 6 different test starts and runs from 15-30 minutes each, appears to be running very well, See link to engine running..
Wheels do need to be re-Chromed.Bumpers as seen in the pictures but there are no Chrome Bumperette's
I am only looking to get what I have invested in materials, nothing for my labor which is a lot of time believe me!!!!If you have been looking at this market you know what it can be worth and all the hard work is already done.Heck, do an eBay search for a 356 engine's it worth $10K+ by itself...
I will be checking my email regularly, Please ask questions, and I will post reply's. If you want any more specificpictures let me know.. I want to make sure you are happy with your purchase..
Please Note: The engine runs but the car is not drivable. Shipping will need to be winched on.Clear Title in my name.
-BillShipping is totally on the buyer, I can bring the car somewhere for easy loading..*****$500 Deposit after auction, we can discuss final payment.*****
