Thank you for taking the time to look at my listing for this 1980 Porsche 928.It was purchased about 15 years ago as a non-running car due to electrical and CIS issues.Over the years, it has been continuously repaired and maintained back to full health.It is regularly maintained and has current inspection and registration.The reason for selling is to down-size the number of cars in the driveway.
The bad:Rear hatch leaksSome rust around window frames and sunroofWhen idling, the transmission grinds going into reverse and first gear unless you put it in a higher gear first. It has been like this for the past 15 years and the problem hasn't gotten any worse.Peeling clearcoat on hoodCrack around rear right marker light on rear bumperPaint cracks on front bumperVery slow oil leak through cam seal (<1 quart per 3k miles), leaks onto the exhaust manifold and creates a burning oil smell.Intermittent odometer over the past couple of years. The odometer reads ~129k, but actual estimated mileage is around 135,000.Switch bezels on powered seats are cracked.The dashboard has a plastic cover over it. The dashboard underneath has a crack in it.The fuel gauge doesn't work sometimes.

Never driven in snow, seldom driven in rain.Alternator replacedFluid in the transaxle flushed recently.Sunroof, power windows, headlights and foglights work. Heater is very strong.
