Description for Porsche 914 1972

This is a no reserve auction for a 1972 Porsche 914 Targa top. fuel injected. project car. with little rust and runs wellThis would make a super project car as a Dry Climate find. with minimal rust. The car runs and drives. but it is a project that needs finishing. I bought the car with the intention of finishing it. but budget. time. and health prevents me from completing it. This car has a replacement engine. and the original is available (locked up) if desired. I do not know the mileage on the engine it was in the car when I got it and described as "low mileage". It has a complete set of new fuel injectors. New spark plugs and new wires. New Gas pedal. and drivers window regulator ButtonIt also has a new battery. New clutch installed when the motor was put in. Good things:The trunk is solid. as well as the front trunk area. The door seals have a bit of rust in the drivers side corner but are solid. The floor pans are pretty good. drivers side under the seat has some rust. passenger side is good. The engine runs well. sounds solid and does not smoke. Has a lot of power. Transmission feels solid. (but shifter is vague). Steering. alternator. power brakes all work well. Tach. gas gauge. lights. turn-signals. wipers. temp gauge all work. What it needs:The interior is original. sun-beat and needs replaced. The paint is bad but original. and it has rust in areas as shown in the photos. has a patch panel just at the back of the passenger door. Speedometer does not work. Actual miles unknown. Tires were put on just to make it go. they are two large and mostly worn out. The condition of the car is best seen in the photos. Needs to be finish. but is no rust bucket and makes a great starting point for a restoration car. I think it was always a New Mexico car. I have a clear NM titleLocated in Los Alamos. New Mexico (87544) 100 miles North of Albuquerque. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange and pay for. $500 deposit via PayPal. nbsp;balance by check which must clear before pick-up. Sold as is.
