Description for Porsche 911 1979
You're viewing my very nice 1979 911SC sunroof coupe. The car is in very nice overall condition with beautiful Guards Red paint (windows out/new gaskets repaint a few years back. not show car perfect. but very nice. great shine. a few normal marks from being a driver and not a garage queen). The black interior has newer front seat covers that are very supple and still look like new in the front. along with RS door panels (I have the original door panels if you'd like them). The rears are original and in good condition (drivers side rear seat bottom cushion misplaced but easy and inexpensive to replace). The black headliner is quite nice. The dash is very nice and has no cracks. The carpets and floor mats are very nice. with contrasting red/black cocoa mats. The actual floors under the carpets are beautiful and very dry/clean. The engine runs strong but there is a slight exhaust leak. The car runs and drives great. I'm sure there has been some work done on the engine at some point. but unfortunately no records. The tires and brakes are like new. The car still has it's original numbers matching engine and 5 speed tranny. I believe I am the 4th owner of the car. the original being a professor at Duke. The car has always been a Carolina car (NC/SC). I am a private collector. not a dealer. and had 15 exotic/collector cars in my collection up until recently when I sold several off to purchase our new river home. The ONLY reason I am selling this particular 911 is we JUST got a foster child 3 days ago and I bought a Panamera S to accommodate the baby (only a week old today!) easier (4 doors with real back seats). I am also selling my prized '62 Corvette and another 911 Targa in my other auctions. so please check out my other listings. Winning bidder must pay a $500 Paypal deposit immediately following the end of the auction. and remaining balance paid by bank wire (preferred choice of payment) within 5 business days. Please do not bid if you are not serious about buying my car. I do not have time to waste playing games. I will gladly sell oversees. and I am only 3 hours from the Port of Charleston. SC. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to make an offer to end the auction early. I have the car listed in several places and can end listing at any time. This is a very nice car. don't let it slip by! I hate to sell this one but the new baby comes first! Thanks for looking and happy bidding! On Dec-03-14 at 08:00:56 PST. seller added the following information:I wanted to add. there are a few broken head studs which could be causing the exhaust leak.
