1986 Renault Alliance 1.7 four cylinder, front wheel drive. Automatic, power steering, a/c. I drove this car daily from 2007 until 2015 when the automatic transmission cable broke. I have not been unable to locate a replacement cable. The engine and transmission worked fine at that time, but I have not started it in about a year. Transmission can be shifted via the bracket on the side of the transmission case to enable the car to be moved. Areas needing attention: tires, transmission cable, no battery, both front window regulators inoperative, a/c inoperative. Gets about 27 MPG in town.
