For sale is my 1960 Caravelle which I bought a few months ago. I went and looked at the car and was going to use it as a parts car while restoring my 1963 Floride but when I saw the car it was in such nice shape I decided to buy it and restore it. This car is a hard top only car with is pretty rare. This car has been in AZ for the last 40 years and looks like it with just minor surface rust. I know the difference because my 63 was from Washington State and had lots of rust in the rockers. under the seats and in the trunk. All glass is good. and all parts are with the car. I have restored some of it like the air cleaner. horns and some other parts. The engine does not turn by hand and I have not tried to put oil in the cylinders but the valves and valve springs look in good shape. The car has a 'Gordini' engines distinguished by 'G' on rocker cover. I have taken most of the interior apart and it is all in great condition but all needs recovered. I have re-chromed the bumpers. door handles and window cranks. Not a great job on the bumper but could be repaired. The door cards are trashed but all the parts are there to redo them. I have also powder coated the rims and put brand new tires on it. I have a hundred or so photos that I can email if you are interested. All the parts that have been taken off are all placed in bags with a note to where the parts go. I have lots of extra NOS and new replacement parts that will go with the car when sold. The car will be sold on a bill of sale because when I tried to register it the MVD had no record on the car and the plate was no longer in the system. If you have any questions please email.
