Original Renault 8 R1134 Gordini from 1964, very solid frame, some surface rust and few pin holes, easy to fix and NOT a rust basket by any means, That is why I added pictures so you see the very solid condition of the frame for a vehicle 53 years old, I bought it some years ago from John "The Greek" Limberopoulos. The engine has less than 20 hours since it was rebuilt by John. Engine runs great, new front calipers, brake system flush, rebuilt Master cylinder and the brake booster works fine, transmission shifts smooth. All glass is there and the rear back and seat cushions are included. Yes, it has 4 wheel disc brakes and original 4 shocks rear suspension. All lights worked when I took the pictures this week. The steering wheel ring is lose from the 2 spokes so you will need a new steering wheel or to fix this one. New Tires and 13" Alpine Wheels.
This is 1 of 2626 pieces of R1134 ever produced and 1 of 1000 pieces produced in 1964. Not a lot left as they were raced in European rallies.
I had the intention to restore it and time has gone and many other projects has taken my attention, I already have another R1134 and I need to make space in my garage (at wife's request) : )
If you ever dreamed of having and original Renault 8 Gordini this might be the time, they are not available very often.
Easy Export to Europe from Galveston, car is located in Cypress TX. I have exported a Renault Alpine A110 and A110 GT4 before and it was not a hassle.
The vehicle is sold as is, where is, no warranty implied in any sense as this is a 1964 vehicle that is not sold in show room condition.
