Built for the founder of Vincent MPH; Martin Vincent (of Autocar magazine). this car was for his personal use. Developed by Martin Vincent and former aircraft and race car engineer Toni Dwornik. its intended dual purpose was that of hill-climber and road vehicle. However. it has only ever entered one hill-climb. The car then went to its second owner who immediately put it into storage where it remained for many years. This is a true time-warp machine. Specs. : 1650cc Ford Pre X/Flow engine. built to very high spec-big valve head. Lotus rods. Accralite pistons. affled sump. twin weber 40's. ear drive. Everything fully lightened and balanced. This is a beautiful engine coupled to a lovely 4 speed close ratio box. The exhaust is a tuned branch manifold and straight though silencer. All suspension has been polybushed and set up properly. Brakes are discs front and drum rear. The axle is Ford with 5 bar location. Full complement of dials and leather Motolita steering wheel.
