This 1965 Ford GT40 replica roller chassis was engineered byPerformance Fabrication Works to bring this custom engineered replica to theserious builder marketplace. This chassis was engineered around pro cars forthe purpose of road racing. This chassis was designed, engineered, andvalidated using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software and is intended for the seriousaftermarket builder.

CHASSIS

1020 drawn steel 1.5” od and .120 wall mild steel DOM,mandrel bent, TIG welded tube frame. Designed to accept standard GEN 1 and Coyotesmall block engines with a Porsche- G50 or ZF transaxle. Built on a true framefixture and has aluminum cockpit block-off panels and aluminum belly pan. Themotor mounts and gearbox mounts will require additional mounting plates basedon the selection of drivetrain type.

SUSPENSION

Fully adjustable double A Arm suspension, front inboardmounted shocks, C5 spindles, Allstar Performance hardware, new aftermarket hubbearings and ball joints, 4130 TIG welded upper arms, and single adjustableQA-1 coilovers.

BRAKES

C5 OEM brake calipers and aftermarket brake rotors.

STEERING

Mustang II steering rack (mounted), Sweet MFG steeringcolumn (mounted) with generic steering wheel and quick release hub.

BODY

Full hand laid fiberglass body using GEN 1 molds from anoriginal GT40. Body is rough fitted to the chassis awaiting final fit andfinish. Door hinges are included (mounted)

WHEELS AND TIRES

GT40 style wheels and tires. 17x8 front and 17x10.5 rear.

No VIN or title, sold on BILL OF SALE ONLY. Process for assigning VIN and obtaining title depends on your state. It is easy to do in Indiana for home-built cars like this but I recommend consulting your states BMV if you are unsure.
