1980 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II. Physician owned and maintained in northeast Tennessee. 46K miles w/ full mechanical and cosmetic restoration following my purchase in 2004. Restoration included: taken to bare metal (no previous damage noted) with multiple coats of gloss black paint applied and buffed to a mirror finish with red pinstripe (see photos). all leather re-dyed a deep crimson. all wood stripped. stained and lacquered with clear coat to much higher standards than original. Upgrades include: recent A/C overhaul with conversion to R-131 system. remote door lock w/ fob. Rolls Royce stained & polished tray tables installed for backseat passengers (not an available factory option for this year vehicle). faster and more powerful window motors (all four). passenger-side mirror. stereo & speaker upgrade with auxiliary input jack. power antenna converted to rise only when radio on. and not with CD or auxiliary input (thus avoiding wear and tear on telescoping mechanism). Usual modern conveniences include power windows. cruise control. and power seats along with wool carpets and a clean headliner. I have no doubt that it is one of the finest examples of this classic Rolls Royce model to be found anywhere. I have a new daughter and new priorities so I’m ready to part with it. I have invested well over $40. 00 in this vehicle but the enjoyment I’ve had with this Rolls makes up for the difference in what I will take for this beautiful piece of rolling artwork.
