Classic1961 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud IITwo-Tone Green ~ Right-Hand Drive ~ 4 Door SedanMy family purchased this car in 1971 from Stanley Garthwaite Ltd. in Los Angeles. The car is a Rolls/Bentley conversion. The conversion was done shortly after the car was purchased and it was also painted at that time. From what I learned from the man who did the conversion. it was not uncommon in the early 70's to convert the '61 Bentley S2 to the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II because the cars were basically the same except for the grills and emblems. My family used this car as a daily driver for a number of years. The car is in good condition over-all and it does run. It had a major engine and mechanical overhaul in 1999 and was driven occasionally until 2005. It has been garaged since then. The car has not been driven recently. other than moving it out of the garage. There are cosmetic issues such as paint. carpet and upholstery.
