RELISTING for a 3 day NO reserve auction. Winning bidder bought car a month ago and still hasn't paid or picked it up. Garage where it is located needs to have it removed now. so I have to start the auction much lower than it sold for originally. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT PICK THIS CAR UP by 12/09/14. Although I would prefer not to be involved in shipping. the garage where it is does know shippers if needed. Selling 71 Rolls Silver Shadow. Rarer Long Wheel Base model w/black everflex roof. Last year of the old chrome bumper style. Car has just under 46. 000 original miles. Runs good but needs brake work. Was in storage for years and sent to mechanic to fix issues from sitting. (seal leaks in water pump and brake system). Water pump and battery replaced but mechanic doesn't know his way around this type of brake system and doesn't have the time or experience to cost effectively trouble shoot and fix. It appears to be collapsed lines as the actuators and other major components all test ok. We were selling it anyway so making price adjustment. Note. this year uses brake fluid. not the pricier to service mineral oil systems of later models. Original RR engine. car is all there. . Body has some paint bubbling around door windows and interior shows leather cracking. but in overall good shape for an untouched car of 44 years.
