Sonett II V4 #305 is one of the first 70 V4s which were manufactured with the Sonett II trim, ncluding wood dash, ow-back seats and drilled spoke steering wheel. This vehicle is disassembled and the chassis sandblasted. The original interior was modified to brown/tan. It has severe rust damage to the floor, nner rockers, nner fenders, oors and trunk floor. There is only side glass. The unique parts of the early V4 are here including drilled steering wheel, ow-back seats, ood dash and vinyl covered aluminum dash pad. Door panels and other interior are all very rough, owever see picture of the door panel top trim which is the original vinyl covered wood. The fiberglass is all present including primed hood and door skins (note 305 marked on inside) and vents, nd the rest of the body is original and shows no evidence of damage. The rare tail lights are here. The photos show a variety of the other parts of the car, ost of which is present. A set of soccer ball wheels, ictured, ill be on the chassis. The motor and transmission turn freely, o idea of condition. Brakes, iscs, rive shafts, tarter, iper motor and mechanism, iping, adiator, oor hardware including rare inside handles, hift linkage, iring harness, nbsp;bumpers and front trim all included, ost fairly rough. The headlight trim rings are good but no buckets. The original grill is very good.
There is no title, have only the last plates known to be on the car, ermont 1996. There were no titles in Vermont for 1967 vehicles. There is considerable paperwork with the car, howing that it was owned and prepared by famous Saab racer and builder Jack Ashcraft in the early 1980s, ncluding his drawing of the paint design (see photo) and pictures of the car as built. He also installed unique air intakes to increase ventilation, howing as the opening in the left front wheel well.
