This 1994 Saab 9000 CSE is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle and is finished in Citrine Silver over tan leather. Equipment includes a sunroof, alloy wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and 15″ alloy wheels, while modifications consist of a Brew City tune and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with garage door controls. The car spent time in California, Texas, and Alabama prior its time in Illinois.Milage remains under 60,000 (59,692). This Saab 9000 has a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
This five-door hatchback is finished in Citrine Silver (227) with black trim, and equipment includes headlight wipers, a rear window wiper, Saab-branded splash guards, front and rear fog lights, and front and rear spoilers. An accessory badge was added to the rear, and noted flaws include paint imperfections and a scratch on the rear as well as a dent forward of the left-rear wheel well.
Directional 15″ three-spoke alloy wheels wear Riken Raptor tires. During prior ownership, a brake fluid flush was performed and the front and rear brake pads were replaced.
The cabin features seats upholstered in tan leather (J33) as well as burl wood trim on the dashboard and center console. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel, heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and a Clarion stereo with CD and cassette players. Modifications include an auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink buttons, a center console armrest, a Ford cup holder and coin tray, and a rocker switch located below the trip computer. Removed factory trim items are included in the sale.
Instrumentation consists of a 135-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for boost pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows under 57k miles, less than 100 of which were added by the seller.
The 2.3-liter B234 inline-four features a Garrett turbocharger as well as a front-mounted intercooler, and it is modified with Brew City Boost engine management programming and a Saab T7 boost controller. Service performed during prior ownership included replacement of vacuum hoses, pulleys, the tensioner, and the serpentine belt, along with a coolant flush.
Reason for selling: I live in the city and am garaging two cars. I rarely get an opportunity to drive this amazing car. Mostly on weekend errands and occasionally to Wisconsin.
Other information to note:- The 9000 had requires new CV boots and currently has an identified leak in the fuel line that requires repair.
