Description for Shelby Cobra Replica 1966
Fast, un, nd affordable We don't have to explain why you want this 1966 Shelby Cobra replica, ut we are going to go through all the details so you know this one is even better than you expect. You already know that Factory Five Racing makes some of the best Cobras in the business and building one from scratch isn't a bad idea. But if you're the impatient type or a guy who doesn't feel like investing a small fortune in a custom build, hen this car is right up your alley. It's a complete and straight roadster finished in a deep blue that looks great on this American racing legend. On top of that is a set of white stripes that's painted not decals, ecause a Cobra without stripes just isn't right. Details like the knock-off style wheels, river roll hoop, nd jacking stubs out back suggest that it was built for combat, nd the hardware underneath backs up this assumption. But even if you don't turn a wheel on the track, t's certain to turn heads on the street. The interior definitely gets the Shelby attitude right, ith wrap-around buckets and Simpson racing seatbelts. The driver gets the full Cobra experience with the three spoke wood steering wheel and the Mustang shift lever that's been reversed to fit the driver perfectly. There's a full AutoMeter gauge package, hich is critical if you're using your Cobra on the track. There's no radio, o heater, o A/C this is a competition machine that's all about the driving experience and nothing else needs to get in the way. Speaking of the driving experience, he best part of a Cobra is always under the hood. This one is powered by a Ford 289 cubic-inch V8. Yup that's right, his one carries the displacement that helped launched this legend. It's been dressed nicely with the correct Cobra air filter and finned valve covers. Beyond just looking good, he motor makes some serious power by inhaling through a Holley four-barrel carburetor and exhaling deeply through the powder-coated side pipes. This V8 does a great job of moving the lightweight fiberglass body, nd you can stay in the powerband with ease thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. Of course, ower is nothing without control. That's why this Cobra comes with an independent front suspension and coilover rear. It's backed up by a four-wheel disc brake package that is connected to the expensive and grippy Nitto Extreme Drag tires. This one is competitive fun on the street or track. A Cobra is a dream for a lot of us, o hurry up before one of the most affordable and complete Factory Five builds gets snatched up by someone else. Call today!!!
