Description for Shelby Cobra Replica 1965

For sale 1965 Shelby Cobra replica, rom B&B Manufacturing.Titled as a 2005 Cobra because that is the year of the kit. Car was first titled in 2007 after it was finished.I have nearly every receipt with photos and documents from start to finish. The engine is a built 1989 Ford 302 that is .30 over, 00 Holy dual feed carb, delbrock intake, ullMSD ignition system, remec 5 speed trans, ord 9" posi rear with 3:75 gears. Real knock off wheels. Has Nitto NT555 245/45 ZR17 Front and Nitto NT 555 315/35R 17 Rear, ots of tread and all tires have even wear. Car is a solid 8 or 9, ust needs some small issues taken care of to be great. The only thing you must fixon the car is the hesitation or engine cough between 1500-1800 rpms and sometimes when hard accelerating, believe its carb related but may be a loose ignition wire or short causing this problem, ither way not expensive to fix. Here is a list of other things that I would do if I was able to keep the car. 1. Lube the chassis and change all the fluids. 2. Check the front end alignment seems to have a little over steer. 3. Re torque all bolts on the car to make sure that they are all tight. 4. Change the speedo gear, t has thewrong one and shows the car going faster than you really are and putting more miles on the car than really driven. So the mileage on this car is really less than is on the speedo.5.There is a loose wire or connection on theTach as it worksmost if the time but not always, ould have somethingto do with thehesitationin the motor.6. Gas gaugedoesn't always work. 7. I would replace all the toggle switches on the dash as a detail fix.8. Fix the horn.9. Paint the exhaust pipes low gloss black and add chrome heat shields to accent the pipes.I bought this from the original owner and I have all of the receipts and complete build info and build CD Disc from the manufacture with photos in a three ring binder. Situation forces sale. Nice car !!! Sold as is. Ask any question, r I advise you come take a look. $1,000 non refundable depositdue when you click Buy Now, alance due at time of pick up.
